{"id":17,"date":"2007-07-26T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2007-07-25T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.st-andrews.ac.uk\/arche\/2007\/07\/26\/new-professorial-fellowships-in-arche\/"},"modified":"2016-11-08T14:12:52","modified_gmt":"2016-11-08T14:12:52","slug":"new-professorial-fellowships-in-arche","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.st-andrews.ac.uk\/arche\/new-professorial-fellowships-in-arche\/","title":{"rendered":"New Professorial Fellowships in Arch\u00e9"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Centre is delighted to announce the appointments of Professors <a href=\"http:\/\/www.institutnicod.org\/notices.php?user=recanati\" target=\"_blank\">Fran\u00e7ois Recanati<\/a> (Institut Jean Nicod, Paris), <a href=\"http:\/\/people.umass.edu\/schaffer\/\" target=\"_blank\">Jonathan Schaffer<\/a> (ANU), <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rci.rutgers.edu\/~jasoncs\/\" target=\"_blank\">Jason Stanley<\/a> (Rutgers), and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.arts.cornell.edu\/phil\/faculty\/weatherson.html\" target=\"_blank\">Brian Weatherson<\/a> (Rutgers) to stipendiary Professorial Fellowships in Arch\u00e9. The appointments, which will run for an initial period of five years, are effective from September 2007 and will augment the Professorial Fellowships of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.st-andrews.ac.uk\/~arche\/members\/member?id=priest\">Graham Priest<\/a> (Melbourne) and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.st-andrews.ac.uk\/~arche\/members\/member?id=shapiro\" target=\"_blank\">Stewart Shapiro<\/a> (Ohio State) which are also to be extended for a further five years. These posts are funded by the University of St. Andrews in the wake of Arch\u00e9&#8217;s success in attracting further major AHRC sponsorship for its projects on <i>Basic Knowledge<\/i> (2007-2012) and <i>Contextualism and Relativism<\/i> (2008-12).
