Five of these are associated with the Centre&#8217;s major AHRC funded projects on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.st-andrews.ac.uk\/~arche\/projects\/basicknowledge\/index.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">Basic Knowledge<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.st-andrews.ac.uk\/~arche\/projects\/contextualismandrelativism\/index.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">Contextualism and Relativism<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.st-andrews.ac.uk\/~arche\/projects\/methods\/index.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">Philosophical Methodology<\/a> (deadline 15th Jan 2009),  and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.st-andrews.ac.uk\/~arche\/projects\/logic\/index.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">Foundations of Logical Consequence<\/a>.  Only UK and EU nationals are eligible for these awards. The remaining two studentships are for PhD research in epistemology or philosophy of language under the supervision of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.st-andrews.ac.uk\/~arche\/members\/member?id=brown\" target=\"_blank\">Jessica Brown<\/a> (deadline 15th Jan 2009) and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.st-andrews.ac.uk\/~arche\/members\/member?id=cappelen\" target=\"_blank\">Herman Cappelen<\/a>. These are open to candidates of any nationality; they cover maintenance plus fees at the &#8216;home&#8217; rate only.
