The Arch\u00e9 Research Centre at The University of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø is pleased to announce the 2nd Arch\u00e9 Summer School<\/a> 2009. The Summer School will take place in ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø from June 29 – July 3, 2009, preceded by a formal welcome and wine reception on the evening of June the 28th.<\/p>\n

The Summer School will consist of four streams each of which will offer high-level, research orientated classes on issues related to one of Arch\u00e9’s four major AHRC projects: Contextualism and Relativism<\/a>, Basic Knowledge<\/a>, Methodology<\/a> and Foundation of Logical Consequence<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Classes will be coordinated and partly tutored by Arch\u00e9 Professors and Professorial Fellows, Jessica Brown<\/a>, Herman Cappelen<\/a>, Graham Priest<\/a>, Stephen Read<\/a>, Stewart Shapiro<\/a>, Brian Weatherson<\/a> and Crispin Wright<\/a>, together with Arch\u00e9’s Postdoctoral Research Fellows. As well as four days of intensive course work there will also be a conference day where Arch\u00e9 Professors and Professorial fellows will present research papers.<\/p>\n

The Summer School is aimed at Ph.D. students and early career philosophers.<\/p>\n

Registration closes on 22 May<\/b>. Spaces will be strictly limited. Those who have been allocated a space in the Summer School will be notified by 27 May<\/b>.<\/p>\n
