New Year’s Honours Dr Maggie Ellis (School of Psychology and Neuroscience); Professor Ailsa Hall (Emeritus Professor of Biology and former director of the Sea Mammal Research Unit (SMRU); and Professor Anne Magurran (Professor of Ecology and Evolution in the Centre for Biological Diversity and the Scottish Oceans Institute (SOI) have been named in the New Year’s Honours list in recognition of their work.Ìý

Telephone Campaign – it will be good to talk! We are delighted to announce that we’re gearing up for our second offsite telethon, and that recruitment for our student callers is well underway. Calling will take place between 7 February and 13 March, so please look out for an email and take ten minutes – if you can – to talk to one of our students. They can’t wait to tell you about all the exciting things that are happening at the University just now.
