Multiple award nominations for Film Studies

Members of the Film Studies community at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø have received multiple nominations for awards from the British Association of Film Television and Screen Studies this year.

Shruti Narayanswamy, who received her PhD from the department in 2020 and is currently the Entrepreneurial Education Coordinator for the Centre for Educational Enhancement and Development at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø is nominated in the best article category for her essay , Film History: An International Journal, 33:1 (2021), pp. 113-141.

Kirsty Sinclair Dootson, lecturer in Film Studies is also nominated in this category for her co-authored article with Zhaoyu Zhu (University Nottingham, Ningbo China), , Screen, 61:3, (2020), pp. 343–367.

Jasmine Nadua Trice, who will be joining the Film Studies department as a Global Fellow in April, is nominated in the best first monograph category for her book:  (Duke University Press, 2021).
