Award winning doctoral research
The Department's recent PhD graduate, Andrea Gelardi, has this past week received the Davide Turconi Award for the Best Doctoral Thesis from AIRSC - Associazione Italiana per le Recerche di Storia del Cinema, for his thesis, "The Material Life of World Cinema: Dynamics of “Discovery” and “Rediscovery” at the Cineteca di Bologna (1960-2018)”. Fittingly, Andrea received the award at the Cineteca itself.
