New issue of Frames Cinema Journal

Frames Cinema Journal has launched its 22nd issue, on the theme of ''. The editorial team for the issue was comprised of three postgraduate researchers in the Department: Yuanxin Chu, Rachel Ng and Camila Contreras-Langlois. As they note in their , the issue 'explores the dynamic interplay between film and the nuanced, yet intertwined concepts of location, place, and space'. This focus leads to a wide range of interdisciplinary and cutting-edge research, looking at filmmaking from across the world (including Germany, South Korea, Iran, Wales, Scotland and Mexico), and a variety of different research materials and methods, from archival footage, to Google-mapping, creative-practice and intermediality.

Frames Cinema Journal is a peer-reviewed journal which publishes full length articles, audiovisual essays and book reviews, alongside innovative formats, like the short-form POV featurette - see the .
