Most international students need a student visa to study in the UK. The visa requirement depends on your:

  • nationality
  • course type
  • course duration.

When to apply

To apply, you’ll need a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) number. The University will send instructions on how to get your CAS number when your University of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø offer becomes unconditional.

If your application is successful

You will be emailed the visa decision.

You will get an eVisa. This is a digital record of your identity and immigration status.

Your decision email will tell you how to access your eVisa. You’ll need to create a UKVI account.
