Ig Nobel Prize winner for Literature - Akira O'Connor

Akira O'Connor, Senior Lecturer in the School of Psychology and Neuroscience gave a talk on his Ig Nobel Prize-winning .
Jamais vu is the curious opposite of deja vu—a feeling of strangeness or unfamiliarity that arises for things that you know should be familiar. Akira presented a story that spans decades—from the hidden origins of jamais vu as a phenomenon of psychological interest, to his own involvement in its study spanning his time as a PhD student, lecturer, and honours project supervisor.
