The ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø and Stirling Graduate programme in Philosophy (SASP) is taught by the Philosophy departments at the Universities of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø<\/a> and the University of Stirling<\/a>. ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø and Stirling together form Scotland’s premier centre for Philosophy and one of the top Philosophy programmes in the United Kingdom. The philosophical ambience is rigorous, friendly and co-operative. Both the Stirling and ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Philosophy departments subscribe to the British Philosophical Association\/Society for Women in Philosophy’s Good Practice Scheme<\/a> for encouraging the representation of women in Philosophy. In addition, SASP hosts a chapter of Minorities and Philosophy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Our students benefit from participation in the Arch\u00e9 Philosophical Research Centre<\/a>, the Centre for Ethics, Philosophy and Public Affairs<\/a> and in Stirling’s three specialist research clusters<\/a>. In addition, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø hosts the Institute for Gender Studies<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In the latest Philosophical Gourmet Report<\/a> SASP was ranked the 3rd best Philosophy program in the UK.<\/p>\n
