Faith societies
The Chaplaincy offers hospitality to many faith societies, providing a welcoming space for people of different faiths, cultures, traditions, and philosophies of life to meet for friendship, prayer, meditation, food, and more. Students are encouraged to attend each other’s worship, prayers, services, festivals, and society meetings. Additionally, there are interfaith events, discussions, and campaigns.

Buddhist Meditation Group
The Buddhist Meditation Group meets weekly, either on Microsoft Teams or in person, to practice and discuss Buddhist meditation. New members are welcome to contact Dr Sam Pehrson directly for further details on joining the group.
Catholic Society
The Catholic Society nurtures the faith of Catholic students at the university through organised talks, discussions on faith, social gatherings to promote friendship, and spiritual events to help deepen prayer life. Christian Union
ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø University Christian Union (SAUCU) exists to give every student in ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø the opportunity to hear and respond to the good news of Jesus Christ. Main meetings are held every Tuesday at 7:30pm in the Baptist Church. They organise a variety of events throughout the year, including a Carol Service, a Ball, and most notably a whole week of evangelistic events in second semester. The Interfaith Steering Group is a group made up of representatives from different faith societies. They work to increase collaboration between faith groups at the university and also host their own events seeking to foster Interfaith cooperation and participation at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø.

Jewish Society (JSoc) is a welcoming and inclusive space for Jewish students of all denominations. They are committed to putting on a variety of events throughout the year. From Friday night dinners, charitable initiatives, social events to celebrating major holidays.

Just Love ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø
Just Love ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø is a group of Christians who equip students to pursue justice with their whole lives. Students are welcome to join in following Jesus’ commands to love our neighbour and show mercy. The group has weekly gatherings as well as weekly volunteering opportunities, weekly Just Lunch (where a free lunch is provided) and other larger events and fundraisers throughout the semesters. As a community, they strive to love the last, the least and the lost (Luke 7) everyday, in everything they do.

ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Muslim Student Association is a welcoming student society that brings people together through prayer, social events, educational activities and charitable fundraising throughout the academic year. While the society is primarily dedicated to serving and supporting Muslim students, it also extends a warm welcome to non-Muslims who wish to learn more, attend events and engage with the wider community in an atmosphere of respect, openness and friendship.

The Pagan Society offer a forum for discussion, friendship, and learning. They welcome followers of, or those curious about, Pagan spiritualities such as Wicca and Shamanism, among others.

Saints LGBT+ is a social and welfare group dedicated to providing an open and safe environment for people in the LGBT+ community, and allies, within ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø.

Sikh Society
Sikh Society is a welcoming community for all students who are interested in learning about the Sikh religion and Punjabi culture. Throughout the year, we host a range of events including trips to Dundee Gurdwara, hikes to surrounding areas such as Tentsmuir Forest, film and game nights, Bandi Chhor Divas social gathering and Langar on Campus.
