Making Waves: The Campaign for St Andrews aims to raise £300 million to achieve this ambition through the key projects below.

Our ambitious "Making Waves" campaign is fundamentally about the restless power of ideas, the people who have them and the environment in which we shape and challenge the brightest minds.

Our New College project, the centrepiece of the campaign and the first new college at
this university for nearly 300 years, will bring together our internationally renowned
School of International Relations and our new Business School, fostering world-class
research and educating future global leaders.

Our focus on endowed chairs, scholarships and bursaries underlines our commitment to the University's fundamental strategic goal to attract and nurture the brightest minds from around the world and to provide them with an environment in which they can thrive and produce their best work for maximum societal benefit.

The development of a cutting-edge digital nexus building for the School of Computer Science will form the first phase in our masterplan for our Science and Medicine campus.

This will enable us to generate an intellectual powerhouse of staff and student researchers from across the sciences and medicine, with the resources they need to develop groundbreaking research.
