PeaceHub: Global Mediation Database

This VIP integrates ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø students into the Global Fragmentation and Conflict Management project led by Dr Peter. This project is funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office through the PeaceRep consortium, and involves post-doctoral and doctoral researchers at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, as well as collaborators at the University of Edinburgh and University College Dublin. VIP students will be working in small groups, researching contemporary conflicts and mediation efforts as well as learning the methodology and contributing to the project’s main output: Mediation Events and Negotiators Database (MEND).

You can learn more about MEND on the project’s .

This VIP will allow students to work on an important resource for researchers and practitioners with a focus on peace and conflict resolution, giving them a hands-on experience of working with a dataset and engaging in policy-focused research. It will also allow students to contribute to the database in real terms, allowing the project team to grow this important resource even further.
