Chevron Surprises ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Rodeo Program with $80,800 Endowed Scholarship
ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø and its Rodeo Program recently received a surprise gift from Chevron that will have a lasting impact on rodeo student-athletes for years to come. Chevron presented an $80,800 endowed scholarship to the OC Rodeo Program during the OC Wrangler Rodeo Cowboy Ball, presented by the Sandhills Stock Show & Rodeo.

ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø’s main campus, including the Learning Resources Center and the OC Bookstore, and extension centers in Andrews, Monahans, Seminole, and Pecos will be closed Saturday, Jan. 17 through Monday, Jan. 19 in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day holiday.

ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø’s Welding and Precision Manufacturing Technology Program received a significant investment through three donations totaling $285,500, supporting equipment upgrades, advanced robotic training, and essential student resources.

ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø is proud to announce that the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Testing Center has been officially recertified by the National ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Testing Association (NCTA), maintaining its national recognition for excellence in testing practices.
MOST Award Honors ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Instructor’s Impact on Science Education
Representatives from ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø and the college’s geology department joined West Texas Geology Foundation (WTGF) board member Emily Emerald to honor Hardt with a $5,000 award and the prestigious Most Outstanding Science Teacher (MOST) award. WTGF also presented ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø with a plaque in recognition of its support of Hardt’s work and commitment to science education.
