Research areas
I am an associate lecturer (education-focused), and have been in the School of Psychology and Neuroscience since August 2020. My PhD was on epigenetics in recognition memory, while my postdoctoral work focused on cell types for navigation, particularly head direction cells. Most of my time is spent on teaching but my current research focus is on the role of neurogenesis in learning and memory, which I investigate using rodent models. I am also establishing research into teaching in Higher Education settings.
